Walk/Run for the Animals Celebrates 25 Years

The Humane Society for Southwest Washington’s (HSSW) Walk/Run for the Animals event lets people and their dogs participate in a chip-timed 5K run, or a 3-mile walk to raise money for shelter animals. The Walk/Run takes place on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Esther Short Park in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Runners and walkers will depart in waves starting at 9 am to accommodate what is expected to be large numbers of participants, followed by a Party in the Park.
