The East Vancouver Costco and Columbia Credit Union invite the community to “Heroes Night” on Saturday, June 25, 2016 to celebrate the great work our local heroes do to make life better in our community. Everyone is encouraged to come and honor our heroes; you don’t have to be a Costco member to attend. A classic car show starts at 4:30 pm with Costco re-opening for festivities and shopping from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.
This free event honoring local veterans, military, police, firefighters, EMT’s and first responders features door prizes, veteran booths, kid activities, one-night only discounts and more. Columbia Credit Union staff will be on hand “Making Life Better” with hundreds of “Random Acts of Kindness” including Costco Membership and gas card giveaways. Guest can expect the parking lot to be full of fire, police, military vehicles and as well as the car show starting at 4:30 pm.
Above all, the event is a donation drive for local veterans. Costco will be accepting items needed by the local Community Military Appreciation Committee (CMAC) and the veterans they serve. Cash donations will also be warmly received.
