Green grass, soft shade, hot cars and Cool Jazz; it’s time for the 6th Annual Ridgefield American Legion Cruise In on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Classic cars cruise in and are available for viewing along the streets of downtown Ridgefield. There’s plenty of fun for the family with raffles, a dunk tank, music, refreshments and BBQ from local vendors. “This year we have a special event, within our event. American Legion Post 44’s and Ridgefield’s own “Jazzman” David Watson and his band Re-birthing the Cool From Bebop and Beyond will perform a free concert in the Skate Park, which is in the center of our event.”
Come and enjoy the show for free…or show off your own ride! All cars, trucks and Motorcycles are welcomed, registration fee is $15 and proceeds will benefit American Legion Post 44’s many community programs, including their primary charity this year, Pure Kraze Events for Veterans (who on August 12 will break ground for 18 Micro Homes for homeless veterans in SW Washington).
