Rocksolid Community Teen Center recently announced that Marcy Sprecher had been named Executive Director. Marcy has served as the Program’s Teen Center Manager for over 10 years. Marcy has been a Battle Ground resident since 1974 and is a Battle Ground High School alumni. She is in her second year as Vice President for the BGHS Grad Night Foundation, and she also serves on the Prevent Together: Battle Ground Prevention Alliance representing the Youth Sector on the steering committee.
“We are thrilled to have Marcy in this position. She knows the program better than anyone and has built strong relationships with the students, staff, volunteers, board and supporters.” stated Lori Lindberg, Board President.
Marcy will take the position immediately. She has activities planned for the remainder of the school year for the teens and also plans for summer events.
Rocksolid Community Teen Center is a non-Religious after school program for 5th through 12th grade students. Rocksolid is located in the lower level of Bethel Lutheran Church, where they have graciously donated the space. Their mission is “To provide a safe place for youth of our community and to foster relationships with one another and caring adults for the purpose of encouraging them to become ROCKSOLID persons.”
