The Clark County Executive Horse Council invites you to Denim and Diamonds, a benefit dinner and auction on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Club Green Meadows.
Kick up your heels at this “Cowboy Formal” and enjoy some cocktails, a prime rib and salmon buffet, a live auction, a silent auction and live music. Some of the live auction items include a beach house retreat with your horses, artwork by local greats, a four hour yacht cruise with wine and cheese, a catered dinner for six couples at your home, a photo shoot with the Black Pearls and more.
Denim and Diamonds will help support the Clark County Executive Horse Council Adopt-a-Horse program and Ripley’s Horse Aid program. “These valuable programs assist horses through out Clark County with the help of Animal Control. We are 100% volunteer – no one is paid. We depend on this event to assist us in raising money to fund the horses we help.”
The CCEHC adoption program was created to accommodate area horses that are in dire need and therefore have been relinquished to Clark County Animal Control. They have a network of several homes throughout Clark County that will foster a horse or horses for a temporary period of time until a suitable permanent home can be found for the horse. Ripley’s Horse Aid is a neglect prevention program which works in cooperation with Animal Protection and Control in Clark County. This voucher program provides short term assistance to horse owners who find themselves in temporary financial distress.
Denim and Diamonds event begins at 5:30 in the upstairs dining room at Club Green Meadows (7703 NE 72nd Avenue, Vancouver). Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online through Brown Paper Tickets .
