Pumpkin Lane is a fun, mile-long scenic hayride winding through woods and across fields, with over 100 “Pumpkin People” greeting you along the way. The 100th anniversary of the founding of the National Park Service will be celebrated at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site (NHS) on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Activities will take place at each of the four sites that make up this national park: the reconstructed Fort Vancouver, Vancouver Barracks, Pearson Air Museum, and the McLoughlin House in Oregon City, Oregon. Additionally, in honor of the centennial, all national parks nationwide, including Fort Vancouver NHS, will waive their entrance fees from August 25-27, 2016.
