Dinner in White on the Columbia

Get fancy, sassy or crazy at the Dinner in White for a new library in Washougal at the fourth annual Dinner in White on the Columbia River. This event will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., along the Columbia River at the scenic Marina Park in Washougal. Dress to the nines, or be comfy, just be sure you’re in white.

Brews for Books

Bring the whole family to help the Washougal community get a new library just by eating food and drinking locally crafted beer! Amnesia Brewing will hold a fundraiser in support of Friends of the Washougal Library for the second year in a row on Friday, August 19, through Sunday, August 21.

Winestock

Enjoy a full day of music, food, and wine at Winestock on Saturday, August 13, 2016, hosted at Three Brothers Vineyard and Winery from noon to 8:30 pm. Winestock is the 4th Annual Greg Stiwell Memorial Concert Event; all ages are welcome to attend and admission is free.

Flapjack Breakfast for the Explorers Program

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) has the distinction of hosting one of the largest Law Enforcement Explorer Posts in Washington. These programs are filled with 15-21 year-olds who have a drive and desire to be the next generation of law enforcement.

Someday, you might need their help. Today, they need yours. The Explorers are funded almost entirely through donations, and they are now looking to raise funds that will carry them through the coming year for uniforms, equipment, and academy scholarships. Join them for the Flapjack Fundraiser, this Saturday at the Applebee’s on NE 112th Avenue.

Washougal Festival of Trees

Each year people gather in Washougal on the first weekend of December to bid on beautiful pre-decorated Christmas trees, enter into a silent auction for baskets of merchandise, or take their chances in one of many raffles.

7th Annual Hike on the Dike

West Columbia Gorge Humane Society is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill shelter, established in Washougal in 1994. Programs and services are supported largely on volunteers and donations. Get outside for some fresh air, and help our feline and K9 friends!

Free Clinic of Southwest Washington Celebrates 25 Years with Breakfast Fundraiser

The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington will host a breakfast fundraiser in honor of its co-founder, Dr. Sam Beall, and to commemorate the clinic’s 25th year. The breakfast will be Thursday, April 23 at 7 a.m. at the Red Cross Building at Vancouver Barracks. The public is invited.

Since Dr. Beall (pronounced “bell”) and Father Ed Rankin opened the original Community Health Center in 1990, with ten volunteers providing free, urgent medical care one night a week, services have expanded significantly. Today, over 600 active volunteers provide care to low-income, uninsured and underinsured individuals

Spaghetti Feed and Concert for the Veterans Community Garden

Come out and support those who supported you! The Clark County Veterans Community Garden project is holding a feed and fundraiser on Friday, January 23, 2015, to be held at the 40 et 8 Club House located at 7607 NE 26th Avenue. The dinner will be from 4PM to 8PM and will have music provided by the Old Time Fiddlers, vocalist Rachel Len, and Ragtime piano by Art Miller. There will also be a silent auction and a childrens talent contest.
