This event will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., along the Columbia River at the scenic Marina Park in Washougal. Dress to the nines, or be comfy, just be sure you’re in white.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) has the distinction of hosting one of the largest Law Enforcement Explorer Posts in Washington. These programs are filled with 15-21 year-olds who have a drive and desire to be the next generation of law enforcement.

The Explorers are funded almost entirely through donations, and they are now looking to raise funds that will carry them through the coming year for uniforms, equipment, and academy scholarships. The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington will host a breakfast fundraiser in honor of its co-founder, Dr. Sam Beall, and to commemorate the clinic’s 25th year. The breakfast will be Thursday, April 23 at 7 a.m. at the Red Cross Building at Vancouver Barracks. The public is invited.
