The Salvation Army’s 11th Annual Dessert and Auction are taking place on November 15th, 2014 with preregistration starting at 3pm. The tasty event will be held at the Camas Community Center, 1718 SE 7th Ave in Camas.
The night is sure to fly by with the Silent Auction at 4pm, the Dessert Auction at 6pm, and the Live Auction starting at 6:30pm. Items to bid on include vacations, gift certificates, themed baskets, activities, services, and more… you don’t want to miss any of it!
And to top off the night, Camas Mayor, Scott Higgins and Washougal Mayor, Sean Guard will go toe-to-toe is a Dessert Stand-off. Each will submit a prize-winning dessert to be voted on… but only one will leave the victor… come out and vote!
Salvation Army is known as, “Doing the Most Good”. Our community is supported in many ways by this international organization that has made itself at home right here in Clark County. They offer ministries throughout the week, social service programs to help families in need, aid to other agencies in the area, disaster relief, and they ultimately build people up to meet their potential and give them the opportunity to give back.
