On November 1st, 2014, Battle Ground High School will officially be taken over by all things handmade, homemade, gifts, treats, and décor by 186 of your favorite local vendors. Find that perfect something for everyone on your list… even your dog!

Historic Fort Vancouver Hosts Lantern Tours

The Fort Vancouver Lantern Tour allows you a unique peek into the past through costumed interpreters performing historical vignettes and the opportunity to learn about your urban national park. You will finish off your evening by sharing a cup of hot cider with the talented costume interpreters and park rangers!

It’s a Chili Weekend at English Estates

English Estate Winery will host it’s 5th Annual Chili Cook-Off, October 25th, 2-5 p.m. in the Loafing Shed Tasting Room, 17806 SE 1st Street. This is a FREE event, with the winner chosen by a “People’s Choice” vote.

Enjoy tasting Chili, Estate wines and if you’d like, bring your own pumpkin to carve and participate in the Estate’s over 21 Pumpkin Carving contest. Music will be performed by local musician Laura May from 2:30-4:30 p.m. First place on either event receives a $50 English Estate Winery gift card.

The Butt Stops Here!

The goal is to clean up our local parks, by picking up litter and all those pesky cigarette butts. Volunteers will meet upstairs in the clubhouse in the Van Cleve Community Room at the Luke Jensen Sports Complex and from there everyone will head out to various community locations to make a difference!

3rd Annual Harvest Festival @ Scented Acres

Pack up the family, invite a few friends, and head to the farm to enjoy old fashion fun, and holiday hauntings. Stations will be set up for butter churning, ice cream-in-a-bag, pine cone bird feeders, corn grinding, and an apple press. Put the kids to work on the washboard-ringer and tubs, and let them make their very own scarecrow!
