Here in Clark County, WA we are proud of our national parks, especially the historic Fort Vancouver. The Fort offers self guided tours, special re-inactment events and in the fall/winter, a chance to experience a live theaterical lantern-lit journey with a Park Ranger. This is a family friendly event that can be enjoyed by all ages.
The Fort Vancouver Lantern Tour allows you a unique peek into the past through costumed interpreters performing historical vignettes and the opportunity to learn about your urban national park. You will finish off your evening by sharing a cup of hot cider with the talented costume interpreters and park rangers!
Fort Vancouver is located at 1001 E 5th Street, Vancouver, WA (Click Here for Directions) and free parking is available. The tour lasts approximately 1 hour & 30 minutes. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED, call 360-812-6232 to make yours and learn more about additional details.
The gates will open at 6:30 and will start promptly at 7:00 pm, be sure to check in with the Contact Station for instructions. Make certain to bundle up the family and be prepared for the weather.
