Tucked away in the quiet part of North Clark County, Yacolt is about to be the big spot on the Clark County fun map this weekend.
Yacolt’s Rendezvous Days kicks off, literally, on Friday, July 1 with the family-friendly kickball tourney, and will wrap up on Monday, July 4 with a parade.
Sandwiched between those two events will be an entire weekend of Country fun. Watch for a bigfoot sighting, or at least a bigfoot 5k/10k Run. Check out the Outdoor Market, which will be in full swing. And, back by popular demand do not miss the Saturday Block Party, featuring a watermelon eating contest, chair races, a water slide, sidewalk chalk art contest, sprinklers, and lots of yard games – corn-hole, sack races, tug-o-war, beach-ball volleyball, and more. Plus, a little more competition will kick into gear with the competitive kickball Tournament, which happens on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
New this year at Backroads will be tacos on Friday evening and a beer garden Saturday. Plus, there will be music and dancing at the Town Square Saturday evening.
The Parade will wrap up the four days of festivities on Monday, July 4th at 10:00 am.
