Our community couldn’t have predicted what 2020 had in store for us. While we can recognize some things are beyond our control, we can still collectively bring cheer and joy by participating in Santa’s Posse.
It’s a true partnership between the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and many community sponsors. This year, Santa’s Posse has a goal to help provide Christmas to 3,300 children in our community.
The Clark County Event Center is assisting Santa’s Posse by providing an easy contactless way to drop-off new unwrapped toys and nonperishable foods on Saturday, December 12th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Clark County Event Center (17402 NE Delfel Road, Ridgefield). They accept non-perishable food items, new toys, new clothing items such as socks, sweatshirts, and coats, as well as gift cards, cash, checks, and PayPal donations.
In 1997, Santa’s Posse was created as a way of contributing back to the community and helping families in need during the holiday season. What started with the delivery of food, gifts, and personal care items to 25 families has expanded to 1,200.
Volunteers are also needed for delivery on Sunday, December 20th.
