The community is invited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for Veterans Village on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at 11:00 am at 5118 NE St. James Road, Vancouver.
Come and enjoy the festivities, meet the founders and supporters, enjoy the food and music and see the layout of the Veterans Village.
The Veterans Village will consist of 18 Micro Homes and a large meeting hall. There will be one veteran per micro home and 24/7 on-site security.
Washington’s first Veterans Village – a Community of Heroes – will house 18 Women Veterans as a pilot project, and most likely become a model for many to come later. It is expected to open by Christmas.
