Forest of Wonder.

Kick off your holiday season at the 18th Annual Vancouver Rotary Festival of Trees Celebration taking place November 29 through December 1, 2013.

The lavishly decorated trees are on display now through November 23 at Divine Consign in Downtown Vancouver (904 Main Street), and will then be moved to the Vancouver Hilton for the Festival of Trees Celebration. You can visit the Festival Friday (11/29) between 9 am and 10 pm; Saturday (11/30) between 8 am and 5 pm; and Sunday (12/1) between 9 am and 4 pm. Enjoy a family scavenger hunt, entertainment, the Talking Tree and a special Holiday Vancouver Farmers Market. Admission is free (donations are accepted).

Would you like to have one of the trees in your own home for the holidays? “You could WIN one of 11 gorgeous professionally decorated trees, all of which come with packages of $500 cash gifts. Buy your raffle tickets (only $5 each) at the Festival and place them in the tree you want to win. It’s as simple as that!” Raffle tickets will also be available at Divine Consign, and the drawing will take place December 1.

Be at Esther Short Park on Friday, November 29 when thousands of lights come alive on Vancouver’s Community Christmas Tree. Events run from 3 pm to 7 pm and include a special Holiday Vancouver Farmers Market, concerts, Santa, train rides, food vendors, and lots of fun!

Breakfast with Santa and Magenta Theater (tickets required), Pets with Santa (free) and the Couve Couture Winter Showcase Fashion Show (tickets required) will take place on Saturday, November 30.

The 2013 Vancouver Rotary Festival of Trees celebration will wrap up Sunday with the Holiday Vancouver Farmers Market, Tea with Magenta Theater (tickets required), and the Tree Raffle at 4 pm.
