Free Purple Ribbon Run/Walk and Block Party to support the American Cancer Society’s Vancouver Relay for Life
Run? Walk? Pizza? Roasted Nuts? Music? Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes please! Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Max Muscle Sports Nutrition in Hazel Dell is hosting the first Annual Purple Ribbon Run/Walk and Block Party. From June 25th to July 1st is Paint Vancouver Purple Week. There will be activities every day to raise awareness and funds for the Vancouver Relay for Life. Tuesday night, the fun comes to the Hazel Dell Town Center. Max Muscle, located between Bed, Bath & Beyond and Kohl’s will host a rockin’ party.
There will be Relay Teams with vendor booths selling fun items like roasted nuts and t-shirts to raise money towards their goal, there will be Music by the Benign Band, pizza and a FREE 5k fun run/walk. This is a great opportunity to get moving on a Summer’s night (its Summer now…really…), then have some food, check on the vendors and enjoy this community that has come together to support the American Cancer Society.
You may be a long time participant in the Relay for Life, you may have never participated….it makes no difference, this party is for everyone. The run and walk is all inclusive. It’s just for fun and so everyone is welcome.
