Come celebrate the grand opening of Vancouver’s new Fire Stations 1 and 2 on Saturday, February 3, 2018.
The Grand Opening Celebration at Fire Station 2 will take place from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at 2106 Norris Rd. Events include remarks by Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle and Chief Joe Molina, Peace Pole Dedication by Rotary Club of Vancouver, Flag Raising Ceremony with Vancouver Fire Honor Guard, Ribbon Cutting, Push in of the Fire Engine, Cake cutting, refreshments, and Tours at 1:45 pm and 2:15 pm.
Fire Station 1 will be having an Open House from 10 a.m. to noon at 2607 Main St. There will be a Flag raising ceremony at 10 a.m., followed by tours at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Parking is extremely limited. Carpooling or public transit is encouraged!
