Ahh, summer! Time to enjoy friends, sunshine, cold beer, food, music and BearPong; and you can do all that and more at the Vancouver Brewfest 2015 happening at Esther Short Park Friday, August 7 through Sunday August 9, 2015.
This three day event will feature 52 breweries, great food, vendors, live music, and will benefit local charities. “Come enjoy over 100 Craft Beers wine, cider, and rum from Maui at the Tiki Rum Bar (it’s going to be cool) as you listen to live music, shop art/craft vendors, and eat delicious food. This year our game of choice is Bear Pong, with many cool prizes donated from local breweries and restaurants.” ~Vancouver Brewfest
What is Bear Pong? Well, it’s kinda like Beer Pong…but bigger and without tables. If you’re interested in seeing it in action, or getting in a little practice, head on down to the Riverview Six to Sunset Concert this week and check it out. They will be in the beer garden (what a surprise ;-) ).
Available tickets include: The Brewmaster $30 (only available online) and includes 3 day entrance wristband, pint glass, and 20 event tokens. The Brewer’s Apprentice $20 includes 3 day entrance wristband, pint glass, and 5 event tokens.The Key Master $10 is for designated drivers and includes 3 day entrance wristband and free, non-alcoholic beverages all weekend at the Tiki Rum Bar.
