Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington (BGCSW) is hosting their annual breakfast fundraiser, Toast for Teens, at Beaches Restaurant on Saturday March 26th, 2022 at 8:30 am. Funds raised from the breakfast support BGCSW’s teen leadership programs; which include Keystone Club and Youth of the Year (YoY). These programs focus on growth in leadership skills, career development, academic success and community service.
This year’s Youth of the Year nominees, including local YoY winner Olivia A., will be joined by volunteers to serve attendees breakfast and share more information about BGCSW and their experience with Club. Building relationships and a sense of belonging within the community is an essential part of teen development and their experience in BGCSW’s leadership programs.
“Toast for Teens is one of my favorite events of the year. What better way to spend a Saturday morning than enjoying a delicious breakfast with friends and family and connecting with teen leaders in our community,” said BGCSW Executive Director, Francisco Bueno. “We are excited to welcome guests who want to support teens who are showing up for their community every day.”
