Summer Camps for Kids at Columbia Springs

Going Green Summer Nature Camp: July 2014
Calling all kiddos entering grades 2-5…Columbia Springs is enrolling now for their Going Green Summer Nature Camp. This is an opportunity for young campers to explore the woods, wetlands, and trails at this 100-acre urban green space located at the historic Vancouver Trout Hatchery. The program will cover natural cycles, field study, conservation, recycling and creative ways to re-use rather than throwing things away. Click here for more info or to register.

Session 1: July 14th  to July 18th – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, daily
Session 2: July 21st  to July 25th – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, daily
$150 per camper


Wolf Camp: August 2014
Wolf College, in partnership with Columbia Springs, is once again offering fun, skill-building outdoor camps. Campers ages 6 to 12 years will choose from one of the following three camp themes: Wildlife Search and Rescue, Wild Cooking and Herbology, and Wilderness Survival Craft. August 18th to August 22nd – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm; daily
$250 per camper

Through programs like these, Columbia Springs is living out their mission of providing the community with a unique setting where educational experiences foster a greater awareness of the natural world, inspiring stewardship.

The site is open to the public daily from dawn until dusk and delivers environmental education programming and services to all ages. You can take advantage of the on-site opportunities such as field studies, workshops, service learning projects, community events and more. Columbia Springs is located at 12208 SE Evergreen Highway Vancouver, WA
