Local schools may be starting virtually this fall, but that doesn’t mean students don’t need real supplies.
Please help Battle Ground Education Foundation Stuff the Bus with School Supplies for their students on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Battle Ground Walmart Supercenter (1201 SW 13th Ave).
Students will be back to school this fall either online or a modified on-campus model and will need school supplies. Every year the Battle Ground Education Foundation provides over 500 backpacks with supplies for local students who otherwise would not have them.
Even if school starts online, who doesn’t associate the start of school with new supplies? It brings a level of normalcy to what is likely to be anything but normal.
Bins will be available at the store before the event so you can purchase and drop off anytime you may be shopping.
