StreamTeam Knocking Out Knotweed

The beautiful and lush Salmon Creek Watershed is a source of pride for our entire community. Here is your opportunity to make sure it remains healthy.

StreamTeam needs volunteers to join them in knocking out the invasive and aggressive Knotweed.


Pick a date, and mark your calendars!

Thursday, August 13th 8:45am to 1pm, or 8:45am to 3pm with lunch provided

Saturday, August 22nd 8:45am to 1pm.

Thursday, August 27th 8:45am to 1pm, or 8:45am to 3pm with lunch provided

Thursday, September 10th 8:45am to 1pm, or 8:45am to 3pm with lunch provided

Saturday, September 12th 8:45am to 1pm

The StreamTeam is a volunteer-driven program of Clark Public Utilities, a ClarkCountyLive! Featured Community Partner. Comprised of more than 1,000 team members who donate more than 3,500 hours of their time each year to save salmon. StreamTeam members come from a myriad of backgrounds including utility employees, Stream Stewards, AmeriCorps members, scout groups, college students, youth groups and a variety of individuals.
