The Parks Foundation celebrates St. Paddy’s Day with two events.
St. Paddy’s for Parks – Friday Fun : On Friday, March 11, join the adults 21 years and older in the heated, indoor venue. Irish food provided by Beaches and Irish beer a-flowing! Dance the night away with headliners ‘5 Guys Named Moe’ as well as the Vancouver Firefighters Pipes and Drum Corps and the Molly Malone Irish Dancers. Don’t forget your best Irish garb for the costume contest! Doors open at 5:00pm and the event ends at 10:00. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
The next day, Saturday, March 12, don’t miss St. Paddy’s for Kids, where families are in for some great fun! St. Paddy’s for Kids is a free, public event that offers fun activities for children. Your child will follow the rainbow on his or her journey to discover amazing arts and crafts, hands-on nature activities and much more; a pot of gold filled with prizes waits at the end of the journey! St. Paddy’s for Kids is from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Activities and prizes Clark Public Utilities.
Both events are being held at Shorty’s Garden and Home, 10006 SE Mill Plain Blvd. in Vancouver.
