Spring Has Sprung at the Clark County Event Center

20th Annual Home and Garden Idea Fair.

Looking for a little inspiration for your home, yard or garden this year? Look no further than the Clark Public Utilities Home and Garden Idea Fair taking place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 29, 30 and May 1, 2011 at the Clark County Events Center.

While signs of spring have been showing up around Clark County with the beginning of Little League Baseball, the Woodland Tulip Festival, and the opening of the Vancouver Farmers Market, it’s not officially (unofficially) spring until the Clark Public Utilities Home and Garden Idea Fair! “The fair features one of the largest plant sales in the region, elaborate displays by local landscapers, hundreds of exhibits with home and garden products, as well as the latest in energy technology for your home.” There are also fun activities for kids (and kids at heart) like creating birdfeeders and playing mini-golf.

Another plus…being as the weather in the beautiful Pacific Northwest can be a bit unpredictable, the Home and Garden Idea Fair is held inside the Clark County Event Center (17402 NE Delfel Rd, Ridgefield) so rain or shine, you’re sure to have a good time!

Hours are: Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is free, but please bring a canned food donation for our local food banks. Also, there is a $6 per car parking fee. For more information visit Clark Public Utilities Home and Garden Idea Fair.
