Riverview Community Banks Presents ‘Journey to the Far East’ Share’s Annual Gala.
“The funds raised from Share’s ‘Journey to the Far East’ Gala are vital in ensuring that men, women and children facing hunger and homelessness in our community attain every opportunity to feed themselves, and their family, secure housing and build a self-sufficient future,” said Diane McWithey, executive director.
The Gala – to be held at the Vancouver Hilton on Saturday April 16, from 5:30 to 10:00PM – features dinner, casino-style gaming and both silent and live auctions. Featured items include:
– Hawaiian Holiday: Airfare on Hawaiian Airlines (80,000 miles), 7-night stay at Waikiki Banyan Condos in Honolulu, 2 tickets to Waikiki Starlight Luau at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort;
– Holland America Cruise: 12-day cruise for 2 to anywhere in the world (Excludes Alaska CruiseTours, World Cruises, Holiday Cruises [Christmas & New Year’s] or Grand Voyages;
– Vacation Internationale: 6-night stay at Torres Mazatlán;
– Oregon Coast Getaway: 6-night stay at the Inn at Otter Crest, 2-hour sealife cruise for 2 on the Discovery;
– Tetherow Resort Package: 1-night stay at Tetherow Lodges in Bend, Oregon, plus round of golf for four, including golf boards.
The silent auction will include 60+ items including gift baskets, trip packages and gift certificates.
Tickets for the event are $100 per person, $1,000 table of 10, $1,500 for table sponsorship. Ticket and sponsor information is available on-line at sharevancouver.org.
