Ridgefield Goes Wild this July 4th

hey! sharing is caring :)

The July 4th Celebration in Ridgefield is a 100+ year old tradition and just keeps getting better and better.

Sponsored by the Port of Ridgefield, the event this year gets a little wild to honor the independence of this great nation. Theme of choice…The Wild Wild West!

If you want to start the day right, don’t miss the Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Firefighters Association at the Ridgefield Community Center from 7:00 am to 10:00 am.

For the active set, there is a Fun Run at 8:00 am and a Pet and Kid Pre-Parade at 10:15 am.

At 11:00 am the Fourth of July Parade will begin…staging will be at Abrams Park.

After the parade you’re sure to have worked up an appetite, so be sure to check out the Lions Club Salmon BBQ at the Community Center from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

Looking for more? No problem! There will be something for everyone from 12:00 pm to 9:30 pm!

Kids Day will be at Overlook Park with face painting, a magician, inflatables and more. Wrist bands are only $5 and include all activities for the whole day.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy the Country Band, Pie Eating Contest, local food, craft vendors and Dancing in the Park from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

To finish the day out settle in near the Port by the Marina around 10:00 pm for the FREE and amazing fireworks display.

Whew…what an amazing fun packed day in store! See you there.
