Community Tailgate and White Out Event.
Ridgefield School District will kick off the grand opening of the district stadium with a Community Tailgate and White Out event at the Spudders’ first home football game on Friday, September 6, 2013.
Activities start at 5:00 p.m., when the community will be welcome to come test out the new track and field by tossing a ball around the new synthetic turf or jogging a lap on the newly-paved and redesigned 400-meter track. From 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. the district will provide hot dogs, chips, and water to all attendees in a Community Tailgate.
At 5:45 p.m., community members are invited to form a tunnel for the Spudders to enter the stadium for their first home game. During the game, community members are invited to wear white to White Out the Stadium. The High School ASB will provide special t-shirts available for $5.00 each.
