Evergreen Habitat for Humanity will host the First Annual ‘ReMaker’s Fair’ On Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 10 am to 6 pm. The event will be held at the Clark County Habitat for Humanity Store, 10811 SE 2nd ST Vancouver, WA 98664 and is a benefit the Women Build Program.

The First Annual ReMaker’s Fair and Upcycled Auction will be a full day of fun including workshops, DIY activities, live music, unique vendors and a ReFashion Demo. This event is sponsored by Columbia Credit Union and the Clark County Habitat Store, and is made possible in partnership with Terra Linda Consulting.  All proceeds from the auction go directly back to the Women Build Program.

They are currently calling for all remakers, upcyclers, and repurposers! Whether you are a professional artist or a home crafter, they are looking for submissions to their Upcycle Auction. Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity International program that encourages women to make a difference by building homes and communities. The program seeks to encourage women volunteers to further the home-building mission of Habitat for Humanity and get involved in a traditionally masculine field.
