Two fun, family-friendly events hit the streets of Battle Ground this week – the Howl-o-ween Pooch Parade and Pet Costume Contest, and Halloween Fright Night.
The Howl-o-ween Pooch Parade and Pet Costume Contest are set for Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 6:00 PM, as the Battle Ground Community Center will be going to the dogs. Adorable pups will be on parade in the first-ever Battle Ground ‘Barks’ & Recreation pet costume contest.
K9 Officer Charlie will be in attendance, serving as the Grand Marshal of the pet parade! Admission is free for all spectators. Full event details can be found on the City of Battle Ground website.
If you’re not dog-tired after the Pooch Parade, make sure to check out Halloween Fright Night, October 31, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
Don’t let the name fool you, the only thing frightening about this event is how much fun you will have when you are there! This free family-friendly event will feature Halloween-themed games, prizes, and of course… candy!
New this year is Trunk-or-Treat, hosted by the Summit View Church and taking place in the east parking lot. In addition, C-Tran will host a kid-friendly haunted bus, complete with ghouls stocked with plenty of candy to reward those brave enough to visit.
