Washougal Motocross will be turning back the hands of time at the NW Challenge 2015 on Saturday and Sunday, August 22-23, 2015.
This event is two days of moto-yesteryear at Washougal MX Park, showcasing vintage bikes with racing on a grass track on Saturday and racing on the National MX track on Sunday. “See ex-motocross pros duke it out on the clay hills. Dust off that ol’ bike and come race.” There are many classes offered and this year will also feature a twins race. If you like motocross, you don’t want to miss this event!
What makes this event even better is that proceeds from the NW Challenge 2015 will be going to Share for their Backpack Program. “Every week during the school year close to 2000 backpacks of food are distributed to under privileged kids in the Clark County school system. We hope that our event raises awareness of this program and the fact that kids go hungry every day in our local community.”
Established in 1971 in the rolling hills and green forests of Southwest Washington, Washougal MX Park is known as America’s Most Scenic Raceway. Only one of three natural terrain raceways in America, Washougal MX Park has for years been used as the backdrop for National races, television commercials and brochures.
