The North Salmon Creek Neighborhood Association Meeting is Coming Up.
If it seems like it’s been a long time since the last North Salmon Creek Neighborhood Association meeting, well, it has. The North Salmon Creek Neighborhood Association (NSCNA) took a meeting break in July, and the next NSCNA meeting will be Tuesday, September 28, 2010 7:00 pm at the Riverview Bank – Salmon Creek.
There will be a panel of experts from Clark County planning and traffic departments to discuss the I-5 Interchange Project.”We are going to see great changes over the next 3-5 years here in Salmon Creek. Would you like to find out how $133M will affect you? Then don’t miss the September 28th NSCNA meeting at Riverview Community Bank! We have several project specialists coming to give you a preview, outline timelines, and answer your questions.”
Refreshments at the September meeting will be compliments of KC Teriyaki, located at 800 NE Tenney Road, Building B207. “They opened last March so maybe you haven’t discovered it yet. If you haven’t it’s well worth checking out. It has a family-friendly atmosphere that blends fast-food-style ordering with table delivery and reasonable prices. Owner Michael Choe chose Salmon Creek for his restaurant because in looking at many locations he thought we had a great neighborhood but it seemed sadly lacking in restaurant selections. He felt it definitely needed a teriyaki restaurant! I think many residents would agree with him and are happy he chose to locate here. Mr. Choe hired the best cook he knew, his brother Sung Choi, who is also an NSCNA resident. We think you will enjoy sampling his recipes at the September meeting.” – Barbara Anderson
