They say (whoever they are) that laughter burns calories! So forget every glass of champagne, piece of pie, and extra helping of turkey and stuffing that was eaten over the holidays, all those unwanted calories can be laughed off without any additional effort!
Magenta Theater’s Improv Team (MIT) will be performing January 27th at 7:30pm, just in time for audiences to laugh their New Year’s Resolution worries away! MIT players assure audiences they are prepared to launch into 2018 with a whole new barrel of laughs in downtown Vancouver.
This is unscripted family friendly improv and is dedicated to making you think….and laugh. The performers play scenes and games based on audience suggestions.
“In a world where folks are never sure what life will launch at them next, it’s refreshing to know that MIT is always family friendly! It’s safe to bring the kids and Grandparents! We have tasty concessions to round out the evening. Plus there are some great restaurants in the neighborhood! Our favorites include NICHE WINE BAR and WILLEM’S ON MAIN! Both within a stone’s throw of Magenta! (Throwing of stones is not condoned by MIT…..)”
The shows are interactive so volunteers can be part of the action. Whether you’re 8 or 80, MIT shows appeal to all ages. Our Christmas show SOLD OUT so don’t delay getting reservations!
Doors open at 7:00 pm for the January 27th show (show starts at 7:30 pm). General seating tickets (no assigned seats) are $10 in advance, $12 at the door(as available).
