Lavender Festival at Heisen House Vineyards

hey! sharing is caring :)

Relax at the Winery.

Many people appreciate lavender for its fragrance; used in soaps, shampoos, and sachets for scenting clothes. Heisen House Vineyards would like to invite you to come and enjoy natures own relaxer and see what all it can be used for at their Second Annual Lavender Festival on Saturday, July 30th between 11 am and 8 pm.

There will be music all day, vendor fair, kids craft table, Bones Steak and Chop House will be onsite serving up some delicious food, and of course you’ll be able to enjoy the wines of Heisen House Vineyards!  Don’t forget to stop by and feed the Turkey!

Heisen House Vineyards is located at 28005 NE 172nd Ave. in Battle Ground, and is a National and State Historic Site. Owner Michele Bloomquist found The Heisen House in 2002. Although vacant, engulfed in blackberries, and showing years of neglect at the time, it was love at first sight and she vowed to restore this state and national historic site  back to it’s former glory and share it with the public. A chance bumper crop of apples in the heirloom orchard and a friend’s suggestion that they make hard apple cider led Michele onto the path of making hard cider and wine. After many years of hard work, she opened the doors of Heisen House Vineyards in 2010.

Heisen House Vineyards is also part of the Battle Ground Wine Loop on the second Saturday of each month. You can visit Heisen House Vineyards online or call 360-713-2359.
