Columbia River Womens’ Soccer Hosting Summer Camp.
Come play, learn, and have fun with the Lady Chiefs! This unique soccer camp is a great opportunity for girls, ages U11-U14, to play with, and learn from, the Women’s Soccer State Champions, the Columbia River High School Varsity Soccer Team! Camp runs July 6 through 9, so send in your registration now!
Head coach Colleen McKinney and championship players will personally create a great experience that focuses on the joy of the game of soccer while teaching important technical and tactical skills. The camp focuses on building future female players to become strong, self confident and competitive players. Campers will not only receive great instruction and have a great time; all campers will also receive a CR Soccer Camp T-shirt.
The camp is July 6-9, 2010 from 9:00 am to noon and will be held at the Jim Parsley Community Center (JPC) Soccer Fields. There is also an optional Swim Session being offered at JPC from 1:00 to 3:00. If you choose to stay for the swim session, lunch will be provided free of charge at Roosevelt Elementary School (right next door), or campers may bring their own lunch. Camp Staff will also be there to supervise through the lunch period and swim session!
Be sure to bring with you everyday: sports shoes, shin guards and socks, water, water and water, and a swimsuit and towel if you are staying for the swim session. It also appears we have finally started to have some summer weather, so be sure to put sunscreen on your girls as well!
