Join Santa’s Posse and help bring the joy of Christmas to those in need in our community. There is still time, and plenty of ways, to help!
Volunteers are needed to help wrap gifts, assemble baskets and deliver toys and bikes. You can also make donations to Santa’s Posse in the form of new, unwrapped toys, non-perishable food, personal care items, cash, and gift cards.
There is a Santa’s Wrapping Party scheduled for Thursday, December 15, 2016, at the Clark County event Center from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Help is needed to wrap gifts and assemble food boxes for 900 families. You can bring your own wrapping paper, tape, ribbons and other supplies if you want to (but you don’t need to) and kids of all ages are welcome (however, there is no child care provided).
Then, on Sunday, December 18, 2016, starting at 8:00 am at the Clark County Event Center, is Santa’s Posse Delivery Day! Help is needed to get deliveries out to families in Clark County.
Santa’s Posse is a partnership between the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and Rotary Clubs of Clark County to collect and distribute toys and food to make a special Christmas holiday for less fortunate families in our community. “What started with delivery of food, gifts and personal care items to 43 families has now expanded to 900.” This year over 3,100 children will be able to have a Merry Christmas thanks to our generous community and Santa’s Posse.
