You are invited to join the Meals on Wheels People as they host an old-fashioned Hootenanny on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Luepke Center, 1009 E McLoughlin Blvd. in Vancouver. This event is free and open to the public.
For those who might not be familiar with a Hootenanny, according to Mirriam-Webster it’s “an informal gathering with folk music and sometimes dancing.” So basically, it’s a fun word for a party; this one will be featuring the Stellar Fellars singing all your favorite folk tunes. A light dinner will be served, and beer and wine are available for purchase.
