Home and Garden Idea Fair Celebrates 25 Years

hey! sharing is caring :)

With more than 20,000 people attend the Clark Public Utilities Home and Garden Idea Fair each year, this three-day show has become one of the most popular community events in Clark County.

Now in it’s 25th year, the Home and Garden Idea Fair is a fun filled show, with activities for the entire family, and a way to see hundreds of ideas on how to make your home, yard and garden a more beautiful, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly place.

The 2016 event will be held Friday April 22 through Sunday, April 24, at the Clark County Event Center.

This event is presented by our friends at Clark Public Utilities as a way to provide customer-owners with important information about their utility programs and the services that benefit you. But even more, this show provides the perfect opportunity for local businesses and organizations to promote their home and garden related products and services to the communities they serve.

Admission is FREE and venue parking is $6. We encourage canned food donations for local food banks or cash donations to Operation Warm Heart, but visitors don’t have to spend another dime at the fair unless they want to. Attendees can save on parking by taking a free shuttle bus to the fairgrounds from either C-Tran’s Fisher’s Landing Transit Center on 164th Avenue or the 99th Street Transit Center at Stockford Village.

Hours for the 2016 show are Friday, April 22, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturday, April 23, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; and Sunday, April 24, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
