Clark County Fire District 6 Annual Event.
Always a great family day full of fun and food, the annual Clark County Fire District 6 Open House will be Saturday, June 4, 2011 between noon and 4 pm at the Hazel Dell Station (8800 NE Hazel Dell Avenue).
Here are some of the activities that are planned for the day: Auto extrication, K-9 Demonstrations, Life Flight Helicopter, Fire Engine Rides, Fire Escape House, Low cost bike helmets ($10 from SW WA Medical Center Trauma Services), Free Food – hot dogs, soda, popcorn, chips and snow cones.
Fire District 6 serves Hazel Dell, Salmon Creek, Felida, Mt Vista, Lakeshore, Sherwood and the Fairgrounds neighborhoods. CCFD6 hosts this Open House as a way to say thank you to the community for their ongoing support of the men and women who provide fire and emergency medical services.
