The Board of Directors of the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington are pleased to announce Ann Wheelock at interim Executive Director. Ann has previously been in positions such as CEO of the Columbia United Providers and CEO of The Vancouver Clinic. Ann is committed to helping those who are underserved and have little access to health care. In her new position, she will be the senior leader of the Free Clinic and represent it within the community.
According to Ann, “It’s an honor to help out the Free Clinic. It’s a fantastic group of volunteers and staff. The Free Clinic is a real gem of Clark County.”
Ann is highly regarded and well-respected in the community. She has a broad knowledge of the Free Clinic and has been involved in various roles for many years serving on the Board of Directors, Finance Committee, and as Board Treasure.
Ann is replacing Barbe West, who had served as Executive Director since 2009. Barbe is moving on to serve as the Executive Director for Southwest Washington Accountable Community Health.
The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington delivers free, sympathetic, quality health care to individuals who are unable to obtain such services due to financial or other contributing factors. The Clinic offers medical, dental, vision, and specialty services with more than 500 volunteers who specialize in those fields.
