Evergreen Habitat for Humanity will be accepting applications for their Homeownership program starting July 15, 2021. Habitat will be selecting seven applicants for their newest subdivision, Johnson Village, off 162nd in east Vancouver.
To learn more about their homeownership program, view the online orientation on their website. The orientation is the first step in the homeowner selection process that Evergreen Habitat for Humanity undertakes annually. The process will be different this year with the orientation taking place online.
Applications will be made available for download on Habitat’s website from July 15 through August 20, 2021. All applications, regardless of when they are downloaded, will be due on September 30, 2021. If you do not have access to a printer to print the application, you can reach out to Melissa Edwards, Family Services Manager, and she will mail you an application packet.
The Habitat for Humanity homeownership program is aimed at offering families and individuals with incomes falling between 30 and 50 percent of the area median income the opportunity to obtain a home with an affordable monthly mortgage payment with zero interest.
