hey! sharing is caring :)

Just before 9:30 AM today 911 received several calls of an erratic vehicle described as a light blue Honda Acura on Hazel Dell Ave. According to reports the vehicle was blowing through red lights, weaving in and out of traffic, had collided with several vehicles and drove away. Deputies spotted the erratic vehicle in the area of Hwy 99 and 99th street and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle was boxed in at the 1200 Blk of NE 99th Street, just east of the I-5 overpass. As deputies attempted to extract the uncooperative female from the vehicle she made a grab for a deputy’s handgun causing the gun to fire. The deputy attempted to regained control of the firearm and second shot was fired.

The suspect, FARIAS, Jessica was taken into custody. No one was shot or injured in this incident. The names of the deputies involved are not being released at this time. Farias will be booked into CCSO jail on charges of Assault first degree. See @ClarkcoSheriff for scene photographs.
