Marshall Center Hosts Free Community Event.

Vancouver-Clark Parks & Recreation, and local partners invite the entire community to a free celebration of Earth Day at Marshall Community Center (1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd) on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 11 am to 4 pm.

Start the morning by helping clean up around Central Park, enjoy a little lunch, then check out all the displays and great entertainment, including a puppet making workshop and puppet show by Mudeye Puppets, live animals from the Oregon Zoo’s Northwest Wildlife Zoo to You program, and a family bike ride.

Your whole family will enjoy earth-friendly crafts, interactive booths, games, face painting and demonstrations. Find out how you can make a better future.
