Couvapalooza 2012

hey! sharing is caring :)

Bridge to the Music.

See the hottest emerging bands touring the NW for the first time at the Couvapalooza Music Festival on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Esther Short Park.

The lineup of 13 bands will range from acoustic jazz/blues to eclectic indie rock, electropop, alternative rock and rock. These artists are a few of the top-rated at this year’s major music festival, SXSW™. You will also hear some of our very own, RED HOT local bands!

Couvapalooza is not only a great music festival, it is a fundraiser to help save music programs in our local Clark County Schools!Couvapalooza “Bridge to the Music” is donating 100% of ticket sales to Clark County School Music Programs! With Federal, State and Local budgets in the red, tough decisions will need to be made concerning extracurricular activities at school.  Music and Art budgets are the first to go, but music education provides much more than an additional school credit.  It is mathematical.  It develops different parts of the mind.  It develops discipline, team work and self-esteem.”

If you love live music and being outdoors with plenty of delicious food and drinks you won’t want to miss it! Bring your own lawn chairs, bring your friends; but please leave your pets and outside food and drink at home. :-)  Tickets are $15 in advance for adults, $30 VIP Seating, Kids 12 and under are FREE with paying adult.
