Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets and spend the day in the park with family and friends. Sundance Rockery has teamed up with Riverview Community Bank for “A Day in the Park” on Saturday, August 5, 2017.
This event, Breast Cancer Survivor Day in the Park, will take place from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm in Pacific Community Park (just off of 164th and 18th Street), and will benefit the Pink Lemonade Project.
There will be something for everyone of all ages!!!
Come out to participate in the Breast Cancer Survivor Walk (1 mile path around the park) or check out the Car Show ($5 suggested donation).
Get your creative juices flowing with some rock painting and play with your canine friends in the dog park.
Don’t miss the items from local vendors at the Silent Auction from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm and snag some info on how to purchase Pink Recycle Bins to support the Pink Lemonade Project.
About the Pink Lemonade Project
This organization is a 501c3 and was founded in 2010 to provide critical support to breast cancer survivors who struggled with the many emotional and psychological aspects of breast cancer diagnosis and recovery.
Their mission is to educate, empower, and support those affected by breast cancer.
