Clark Public Utilities StreamTeam Hosts Make a Difference Day Challenge and Raffle

hey! sharing is caring :)

Clark Public Utilities has proudly served Clark County since 1938, and now they’re inviting the community to join them in celebrating Make a Difference Day, this Saturday, October 23.

Make a Difference Day is a national day of community service when people from across America roll up their sleeves and brighten up their corner of the globe.

As in years past, the Clark Public Utilities StreamTeam is leading the charge and offering volunteers a number of opportunities to clean up, restore, and preserve the local environment. This year, StreamTeam invites the community to work together in spirit and mission, while working safely apart.

“We’ll miss seeing everyone in person; but we’re also excited about making this year’s day a self-led event because it’ll spread the joy and good work throughout the entire county,” said StreamTeam Program Coordinator Maddy Loy.

Whether you work in your backyard, neighborhood, or favorite park, our community is filled with opportunities for you to leave a lasting positive impact.

“Our volunteers always amaze us, and we expect this year to be no different,” Loy said. “So, we want to reward them for their hard work by inviting all of our participants into the MADD Raffle Challenge.”

The event includes a list of 20 challenges for you and your family to take part in. Complete the activity then send a photo to the StreamTeam folks to be entered to win some incredible prizes. Each activity has a different score value, which corresponds with the number of submissions into the raffle you’ll get for completing that activity. Completing more time-intensive activities could get you entered up to three times for just one activity. The more you complete, the more chances for you to win.
