Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the coming of spring at the annual St. Paddy’s for Parks at Shorty’s Garden and Home (10006 SE Mill Plain Blvd) on Friday, March 15, 2013; and the St. Paddy’s for Kids event on Saturday, March 16, 2013.
This year the St. Paddy’s for Parks is going to be “Moe” fun than ever, featuring live music by 5 Guys Named Moe and Celtic tunes performed by On a Lark. Beaches Restaurant will be serving up some Irish grub, and beverages will also be available for purchase (note: Friday night is for the over 21 crowd only). All proceeds directly benefit the parks, trails, and recreation programs of Clark County through the Parks Foundation. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20 (available at either Shorty’s location or online), or at the door for $25. This popular event tends to sell out, so advance purchase is recommended.
Continue your springtime celebration with the kids at the St. Paddy’s for Kids celebration on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Shorty’s (Mill Plain location) between 10 am and 2pm. There will be lots of springtime activities, story time, games, and prizes and hey, it’s FREE!
