Annual Family Fun Day.
The Clark County Fire District 6 Annual Open House is scheduled for Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Hazel Dell Fire Station (8800 NE Hazel Dell Avenue) between noon and 4 pm. CCFD6 hosts this Open House/Family Fun Day as a way to say thank you to the community for their ongoing support of the men and women who provide fire and emergency medical services.
Enjoy free food (Applebee’s Oriental and Ceasar Salads, Hot Dogs, Chips, and Drinks), hands on family activities, and low-cost custom fitted bike helmets provided by SW Washington Medical Center Trauma Services.
Watch some of our finest in action with an Automobile Extraction Demonstration, Clark County Sheriff’s K-9 Team and a Life Flight Helicopter Landing. Kids can enjoy getting up close and checking out the old and new fire trucks as well as the fire escape smoke house (a mobile structure in which we teach children to practice escaping from their own home as if it were filled with smoke or on fire).
