Candidate Forum at The Cedars on Salmon Creek

Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce and Clark County League of Women Voters Sponsoring Event.

The Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce and the Clark County League of Women Voters are cosponsoring a Candidate Forum on August 5, 2010 at The Cedars on Salmon Creek from 11:30am – 1:00pm.  (Lunch at 11:30am, Program to begin at 11:45 am)

The Panel: Ann Rivers, Brandon Vick, Dennis Kampe, John Haugen, Jon Russell, and Rich Carson. Members of the Chamber are invited to suggest possible questions to be asked of the candidates.  The Chamber and the League will make the final choices for the questions to be asked that day.


Candidates will include those seeking positions of the 17th and 18th Legislative Districts.

The League of Women Voters (men are also members) is a non-partisan organization whose purpose is to encourage the informed and active participation of all citizens in government and politics and to influence public policy through education and advocacy.  They do not support nor oppose candidates or political parties.  They provide public forums which offer candidates the opportunity to state their positions, reasons for running for public office, and to answer questions relating to current issues posed by the League and co-sponsors.
