Fun on the Farm in Battle Ground.
Come join the fun at the third annual Barn Bash at Heisen House Vineyards (28005 NE 172nd Ave, Battle Ground) Saturday, June 30, 2012 from noon to 6 pm.
The fun family centered farm style celebration will feature historic displays, antique farm equipment, a collection of family quilts and crochet on loan from the great granddaughter of Alexander Heisen (who built the barn), tours of the historic homestead, food, music, games, local products and goods for sale from area crafters, artists, and farmers, and more!
This event will celebrate the restoration work completed over the past two years on the historic Heisen Barn and continuing barn (fund)raising efforts to preserve and protect this historic building; the Heisen House and Barn are listed on the State and National historic registers. Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $5 per adult and $3 per child between the ages of 5-18. Donations will go toward the continuing barn preservation effort.
