Anecdotal Evidence is Having a Poole Party

hey! sharing is caring :)

A Story Telling Series for Grownups.

Anecdotal Evidence is a storytelling series that brings local folks from all walks of life together to hear true, and often hilarious, stories performed by our very own friends and neighbors around a theme that changes monthly. The next Anecdotal Evidence is A Poole Party on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Atrium Lounge from 7pm-10pm.

This show will celebrate the release of “The Sliding Glass Door”, the third book of poetry from Vancouver’s own Scott Poole. To honor Scott’s accomplishment the theme this month is “Scott’s Favorite Things”, (like Oprah’s favorite things but with no cars or pashminas) which are Star Wars, Halloween and Vantucky.

“And you won’t believe our storytelling lineup this month – it’s a cultural exchange with that city across the river along with our own local ‘Couv talent – Scott Poole, LiveWire Poet & Vantuckian; Courtenay Hameister, Producer/Head Writer/Host of LiveWire; Chelsea Cain, NYT Bestselling Author of “The Night Season” and “Heart Sick”; Greg Robillard, author of “Captain Freedom: A Superhero’s Quest for Truth, Justice, and the Celebrity He So Richly Deserves”; Doug Askelson, Construction King & Scott’s Best Friend; Temple Lentz, all around bad assery champ and a few others we’re confirming as we speak, so watch for event updates.”

There is a $5 admission fee, or for $25 (pre-sale, or $30 at the door) receive a copy of “The Sliding Door”, admission and an AE logo future vintage wine glass. You can purchase your tickets pre-sale at Brown Paper Tickets. The Atrium Lounge is located at 606 Broadway in Vancouver, WA. Doors open at 6 pm, the show will begin at 7pm.
