What is a community clothing swap? It’s an event where community participants exchange their valued but no longer used clothing for clothing they will use. Clothing swaps are considered not only a good way to refill your wardrobe, but are also considered good for the planet.
The great part is that this is a free event. No minimum clothing donation is required to participate. And for all those new found fashion statements, they even have fitting rooms to make sure you like it.
The event will take place Saturday, September 3, and Sunday, September 4, starting both days at 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM at Kindred Homestead Supply.
Looking to participate? It’s done in a couple of easy steps:
Step one: Bring in your gently used clothes to Kindred Homestead Supply BEFORE the event.
Step two: Attend the event and start shopping! Take what you need, want, or anything that catches the eye. There is no expectation of how much you should bring vs how much you should take. Optionally, you can purchase a “First Dibs” night and shop the night before the clothing swap for first dibs.
